William J. Meehan

Mr. William J. Meehan, 95, died peacefully on January 12, 2023.

Born in New York City to the late Joseph and Helen Meehan, he traveled and became a master carpenter. He settled to Neshanic Station, New Jersey and proudly turned his house into an extensive workshop. He worked with wood and metal alike, creating furniture and many unique pieces. Mr. Meehan worked for General Motors Manufacturing and Painting for many years.

He was most proud of the time he dedicated to the Neshanic Volunteer Fire Department where he served as Chief.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, and a dear sister.
