William "Bill" was born in Brooklyn, NY. He graduated from Richmond Hill High School after which he joined the army. He worked for AT&T Long Lines in New York, which transferred him and his family to NJ. He worked for AT&T for 37 years. He retired to stay home with his grandchildren. William passed away quietly at home on April 7, 2021.
William did not hold just one title in life. His greatest title was husband but he was also a Father, Pa, Son, Best Friend, Solider, Volunteer and a manager.
He touched many people throughout his life through his selflessness. He was a truly religious man who you could always hear singing no matter where you were.
He is survived by his wife Linda, his children John; Thomas and his wife Jeanette; Judith; and Gale and her husband Tom. His grandchildren Robert Sackie; Lindsey Knipe, Abigail Luscher, Jacob Luscher; Nylah Luscher and Tommy Knipe.
William will truly be missed, always remember in life you have three choices "You can accept, walk away, or go crazy". Visiting hours from 2pm-5pm on Sunday, April 11, at the Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30am on Monday, April 12, at the Immaculate Conception Church, 35 Mountain Ave., Somerville. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Route 28, Somerville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may made to a charity of your choice in Bill's memory
