William F. Guiseppi, died peacefully at home on April 12. Born and raised in Boonton, NJ, Bill met the love of his life, Claire Stackhouse, at Boonton High School. They were married in 1941. Bill proudly served in World War II as a radio operator/gunner with the 322nd Bomb Group flying 52 missions over occupied Europe.

His career began on the line at the Boonton Molding company. In 1960 he moved to Diehl Manufacturing (div. of Singer Sewing Machine) as General Manager of the Plastics Division. In 1964 he became Plastics Specialist with the Singer Company North Atlantic Manufacturing Division, then made Plastics Consultant for the U.S., Canadian, European and South American operations, traveling extensively until retiring in 1975.

Along with gardening and landscaping, golf stood out as a past time passion. He gave private lessons to several aspiring pros who ultimately received golf college scholarships. A few become professionals.

An avid cook, he prepared his own meals almost until the end of his life, and enjoyed making and sharing various Italian favorites – baked ziti, stuffed shells, sausage and peppers, pasta e fagioli, among many others.

He was predeceased by Claire, his wife of 63 years, in October 2004 and survived by his three daughters – Ellen Guiseppi of Milwaukee, WI, Susan Guiseppi of Somerville, NJ and Meg Guiseppi of Andover, NJ.

Mass of Chrsitian Burial will be celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Church in Somerville on April 28 at 9:30 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
