1、杨文魁才华横溢，能写能画，书法顶级。在解放军部队当文书，被保送到武汉大学测绘学院，学习大地测绘，天南地北，用双脚丈量大半个中国，为祖国的大地测绘事业贡献了毕生的精力。
2、晚年移居美国，在耶稣基督星辰的普照召唤下，荣耀归主， 终得恩惠，平安入主怀。
