Wenjun Jin

Wenjun Jin, 89, died peacefully on October 1, 2025.

Born in Shanghai, China, Wenjun grew up as the youngest of three brothers. In 1964, he married his beloved wife, Hongying Lin, and together they raised two daughters, Lei and Yu Jin. He immigrated to the United States in 2004 to be closer to family and help care for his two grandsons.

Wenjun was inquisitive and deeply curious, always eager to learn and grateful for all that life offered him. He was an avid reader of Chinese literature, taught himself English, and cultivated a lifelong passion for writing. He frequently composed poems reflecting on life, family, and the world around him, and he even wrote an autobiography chronicling his life’s journey. He also found great joy in photography, always seeking to capture the beauty of nature and the cherished moments he shared with his family. Beyond his creative pursuits, Wenjun loved to travel the world and explore new cuisines, most recently visiting Las Vegas with his family for a celebration of his 90th birthday according to Chinese tradition. His favorite pastimes included playing Mahjong and listening to Peking Opera.

Wenjun was a loving husband, devoted father, and adored grandfather. He poured his heart into his family and filled the lives of those around him with joy. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Hongying Lin; his daughters, Lei Jin and her husband Dave Falardeau, and Yu Jin and her husband Yibin Gu; his grandsons, Albert and Andrew Gu; as well as his extended family worldwide.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Avenue, Somerville, NJ, with services following at 11:00 AM.

金问俊，享年89岁，于2025年10月1日安详离世。 金问俊出生于中国上海，是家中三兄弟中最小的。1964年，他与爱妻林红英结婚，育有两个女儿，分别是雷和瑜。2004年，他移民美国，以便更接近家人并帮忙照顾两个孙子。 金问俊求知欲极强，总是渴望学习，并感激生活给予他的一切。他热衷于阅读中国文学，自学英语，并培养了毕生对写作的热情。他经常创作诗歌，反思生活、家庭和周围的世界，甚至还写了一本自传，记录自己的人生旅程。他也从摄影中找到了极大的乐趣，总是试图捕捉自然之美以及与家人共享的珍贵瞬间。除了创作之外，文君还热爱环游世界，探索新的美食。最近，他和家人一起前往拉斯维加斯庆祝自己的90岁生日，这是他按照中国传统庆祝的。他最喜欢的消遣是打麻将和听京剧。 问俊是一位慈爱的丈夫、尽职的父亲和受人爱戴的祖父。他全身心地投入到家庭生活中，让周围的人的生活充满欢乐。他身后留下了结婚61年的妻子林红英，女儿金雷女婿大卫 法拉多，以及金瑜女婿顾一斌，孙子艾伯特和安德鲁·顾，以及遍布全球的亲人。 瞻仰遗容仪式将于2025年10月4日星期六上午10:00至11:00在新泽西州萨默维尔山大道80号的库西克殡仪馆举行，随后的追悼会将于上午11:00举行。
