Violet "Peggy" Banta, wife of the late David Banta, died December 1 in Hillsborough. Mrs. Banta was born in Jersey City and has been a resident of Hillsborough for several years. Surviving are her daughter Karen Stehn, her husband Joe, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Monday, December 5, at St. Joseph Church, Yorktown Road, Millstone/ Hillsborough. Interment to follow at Rocky Hill Cemetery, Rocky Hill, NJ.
Visiting hours from 7pm-9pm on Sunday, December 4, at the Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Ave., Somerville.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association
