Victoria Harmer

November 29, 1958 — August 8, 2021

Victoria (Vicki) Harmer passed away August 7, 2021 in Somerville, New Jersey after a short illness.

She was born in Somerville on November 29, 1958 to Marion (Butler) and Michael Reimer. A lifelong resident of the borough, she graduated from Somerville High School in 1976, Somerset County College (now RVCC) in 1978 and worked 40 years at Ethicon and Johnson & Johnson. After retirement from J&J she worked at Post Ace Hardware, enjoying continuing to connect with neighbors on a daily basis.

Vicki was a tremendously dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She married her husband Wayne in 1986, and they welcomed daughter Madison in 1991. Her grandson Mars was born to Madison and her husband Bryan in June 2021.

She was a devoted friend, and a steadfast volunteer. She derived great joy from working alongside of her friends in the Somerville Civic League, Somerville Educational Foundation, SHS Reunion Committee and various other organizations.

When not with family or volunteering Vicki was a master of crafts – baking lemon bars to share or sewing any Halloween costume her daughter could dream up.

She was predeceased by parents Marion (Butler) & Michael Reimer and sister Sharon Billera.

She is survived by:
Husband – Wayne (35 years)
Daughter – Madison, her husband Bryan Harmer Hasho and their son Mars
