Ursula Pellegren Hemerda died December 8. Mrs. Hemerda was born in Middlesex and resided in Hillsborough and Bridgewater for many years.

A graduate of Somerville High School, Class of 1945, she went on to become a respected and valued Executive Secretary to the President of Johns-Manville in Manville during the late 50s and 60s. Mrs. Hemerda was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, Somerville and included her hobbies as singing and traveling. In 1961, she married the love of her life,the late Louis Hemerda and lovingly shared her life with her stepchildren Lee McCarroll and the late Louis Jr. Surviving are her four sisters, Linda Costa of Concord,NH, Mary Brown of Manahawkin, Norma Tolmach, Vero Beach, FL. and Patricia Huhn and her husband Allan of Flemington and a sister in law Barbara Pellegren of Castle Rock, CO. Her brother John Pellegren predeceased her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Wednesday, December 12, at the Immaculate Conception Church, Somerville. Interment to follow at church cemetery, Somerville.

Visiting hours from 3pm-5pm on Tuesday, December 11, at the Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville.
