Bronx

Timothy Jude Kerrigan, 41 of the Bronx, passed away peacefully at home on January 14, 2026. Tim was a lifelong resident of the Bronx and was the embodiment of loving where he was from. Tim was a devoted Yankees fan, having worked at Yankee Stadium for several summers in his youth. Tim graduated from St. Philip Neri Grammar School and Mount Saint Michael’s High School, where some of his favorite memories and friendships were formed on the football team.

Tim worked for many years as a Senior Clerk at Montefiore Hospital which was appropriate as Tim was always taking care of those that needed help or support. Tim was employed by the New York City Department of Sanitation at the time of his passing.

Tim’s friends best summed up Tim as “he never outgrew the things that first made him happy, and that was one of his greatest strengths. He held onto his childhood hobbies with pride, found pure joy in metal concerts, and loved nothing more than spending time with the people he cared about - often with a drink in hand and laughter echoing all around. Tim loved his friends deeply, and he showed it through loyalty, presence, and a quiet, steady kindness.”

Tim was predeceased by his mother, Margaret Kerrigan, his aunt, Mary Kerrigan, and his uncle, Thomas Kerrigan. Tim is survived by his cousins Gregory (Christine) Kerrigan of Branchburg NJ, Martin (Christa) Kerrigan of Ellicott City, MD, Kevin (Tracy) Poli of the Woodlands, TX, Amanda (Dana) Heter of Wylie, TX, Paul (Christine) Young of Dumont, NJ, and Tara (Jun) Young Park, of Cliffside Park, NJ. Tim also leaves behind a large group of heartbroken lifelong friends from the Bronx.
