Thomas Cullen Czekaj, brother of the late Padraic (Paddy), died November 3 at Morristown Medical Center. Tom was born in Somerville and resided in Bridgewater (Bradley Gardens) most of his life. He had been employed in the production department of The Star Ledger, Montville and a line chef at Espo's Restaurant, Raritan, before his illness. He was a 2004 graduate of Bridgewater-Raritan High School where he played Varsity football, a former member of Boy Scouts Troop 99 and a lover and student of nature.

Surviving are his parents Thomas and Kathryn Czekaj, his sisters Meghan Byrne and Rebecca Czekaj and his maternal grandfathers John (late wife Alice) Czekaj and George (late wife Nancy) Zervopoulos and aunts,uncles,cousins and dear friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:30am on Friday, November 8, at the Immaculate Conception Church, Somerville. Interment to follow at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater. Visiting hours from 2-4 & 7-9pm on Thursday, November 7, at the Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Benefits Project Independence C/O Morristown Medical Center, 475 South st., Morristown, NJ 07967
