Theresa M. Patullo

Theresa M. Patullo, nee Poklemba, 101 years strong, died peacefully on August 9, 2024.

Born in Olyphant, PA to the late Andrew and Julia Poklemba, nee Pirhalla, she graduated from Olyphant High School. After World War II, she met the love of her life, Nicholas H. Patullo at a pizza shop in South Bound Brook. The two were married and began to raise their family in Bound Brook. The Patullo’s settled in Middlesex for many years before retiring back to where it all began in Bound Brook.

She was a professional Mom, she devoted herself to her family and assuring her family was loved and cared for, including all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Theresa loved to cook, and her home was known for incredible food and creating memories around the table. She was an avid reader and kept her wit well into the 100 years she walked this earth. She kept a clean home and could sew and hem anything anyone needed. Theresa found joy in traveling with her family, especially to Gandy’s Beach, New Jersey and had a love for Disney World in Florida.

She was preceded in death by her dear siblings, her beloved husband Nicholas H. Patullo and her loving son, Dennis J. Patullo.

Surviving are her loving children, Nancy Kozic, Lorraine Dietrich and husband Richard, Nicholas Patullo and wife Lori, and daughter in law, Janet Patullo. She is also survived by her grandchildren Richard Dietrich and wife Roseann, Kelly Pfeiffer and husband Matt, Kimberly Spair and husband Matt, Bryan Smith and wife Katie, Kaitlin Brauer and husband Craig, Brendan Redmond-Patullo, Nicholas Patullo and Jennifer Patullo. She is also survived by her thirteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Visitation will be held from 8:30-10:30AM on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Avenue, Somerville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM following the visitation.

Interment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
