Theresa Federico Manfredi, 88, passed away from natural causes on Friday, February 16th in Raritan NJ. She was born on January 22, 1930 in Somerville NJ. She was one of seven children born to Serafina Zito and Stephano Federico. On July 23rd, 1966, she married Dominick Manfredi and together they raised two sons on Cliff Street. She was a devout parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church and the Rosary Society. She loved to entertain family and friends at her home that included an open house for the Memorial Day bike races. She started a family Christmas tradition that has continued for over 40 years. She retired from the Somerset County Courthouse in July of 2002. She is survived by her two sons Mark and Michael and her beloved grandson Reese, her sisters Nancy Giuliano and Rose Cumiskey, her brothers, Joseph and Steven, her sister-in-laws, Dolores and Evonne, her brother-in-law Louis Giuliano and a multitude of nieces and nephews. She was the cornerstone of the Federico family and her absence leaves a hole. The viewing will be held at Cusick Funeral Home in Somerville on Thursday, February 22nd from 8:30 am to 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church, Somerville, at 10am. Interment to follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Union Ave., Somerville
