Terry Jamieson passed away peacefully Sept. 5th, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Theresa Ann Textor on June 25, 1927 in Union, NJ. She met her future husband Bill Jamieson at a co-ed baseball game; they married in 1951. Later, as a beautiful young mother of four, Terry developed an interest in theater. She was an early member of the Villagers’ Barn Theater in Franklin, and graced the stage in many productions there and at Edison Valley Playhouse for three decades. A devoted diarist, she chronicled her daily musings and leaves to her family a lifetime of her poems, stories, and thoughts. She will be deeply missed by her beloved Bill, her children and their spouses, Kathryn Ormosi (Tamas), Jeffrey (Susan), Beth Uporsky (David) and Christopher (Michelle), and nine grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, Sept. 8, at Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Ave. Somerville NJ, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to remember Terry and celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, please bring a written memory or note to share with the family.
