Theodore Ficarra Jr.

Theodore Ficarra Jr., age 66, passed away November 11th, 2019 at RWJ University Hospital Somerset in Somerville, NJ. Teddy was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ the son of Theodore Ficarra and Rose (Scozzafava) Ficarra. Teddy resided in Somerville and Kendall Park, NJ before retiring from Lucent Technologies to Wilmington, NC before getting sick. For the last 4 years he has resided at Somerset Woods Rehab and Nursing Center in Somerset, NJ to be close to his daughter and son in-law. His hobbies included bowling, fishing and collecting American Eagle pieces of art, statues and memorabilia.

Teddy is predeceased by his wife Sandi Ficarra and his son Vincent Ficarra. Teddy is survived by his daughter Stacey Harper, her husband Jon and granddaughter Brooke along with his siblings Sophie Merunka, Dolores Murray and Salvatore Ficarra and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation with family and friends will take place on Friday, November 15th, 2019 from 6pm – 9pm at Cusick Funeral Home in Somerville. A Prayer at 9pm on Friday evening will conclude the services.
