Sandra "Sandy" Arlene Schwarz

Sandra Arlene Schwarz, “Sandy”, died suddenly at home on March 12, 2023.

Born in New Brunswick to the late Harry and Irene Lawrence  Bode, she was a graduate of Edison Highschool. Sandy went on to graduate from Rutgers Douglas with her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology. She started working on Eagleton School in New Brunswick and Center for Alcohol Studies at Rutgers. She met and married the love of her life, Gary Schwarz, and settled in Hillsborough where they raised their family.

Mrs. Schwarz devoted over 22 years to Midland Residential as an administrative assistant. She assured the daily operations ran smoothly and was a huge support system to everyone around her. She was a devoted mother who loved to cook and was known for baking especially around the holidays. Sandy was a devoted RU Scarlet Knight and enjoyed bus trips and traveling to support Rutgers Sports.

Surviving are her beloved husband, Gary Schwarz, her loving children Jonathan Schwarz and Jennifer Ulloa and husband Neptali, as well as her extended family, colleagues, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, from 3:00 to 7:00PM at Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Avenue, Somerville.

A prayer service will be held at 5:00PM during the visitation.
