Robert Neil O'Keefe, Jr.

Robert Neil O’Keefe, Jr., 41, died February 25, 2023.

Born in Somerville, Rob was raised in Bridgewater and went on to graduate from Bridgewater Raritan High School class of 2000. He was active in sports and especially excelled at football, lacrosse and ice hockey.

He went on to join the family trade in Masonry and Excavation. He took pride in his work, and it showed in every project on hand. Rob enjoyed digging and loved to operate heavy machinery. He enjoyed dirt bikes, ATVs, and spending time outdoors. His greatest achievement in life were his two sons, and he devoted time to assuring they had an incredible life and enjoyed time spent with them. Rob was known to never hold a grudge and never stayed mad for too long. He would give you the shirt off his back and held his friends close to his heart.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Nicholas and Marie O’Keefe, and maternal grandparents, James and Katherine Nulty.

Surviving are his parents Robert Neil O’Keefe, Sr. and wife Lucinda, and Grace DelRocco and husband Steve, his wife, Amanda O’Keefe (nee Kingman), his cherished sons Robert Neil O’Keefe, III and Ryan Thomas O’Keefe, his brother Thomas James O’Keefe, sister Carol Ann Fugitt and husband Mark, stepbrothers Jamie Delrocco and Frank Delrocco, stepsister, Katie Kelly, as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00PM on Monday, March 6, 2023, at Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Avenue, Somerville.

Family and friends are welcome to gather at 10:00AM on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at the funeral home for a prayer service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater.
