Robert M Hardgrove

Robert Musa Hardgrove,83, of Hillsborough died on April 14 at home. Born and raised in Somerville, he was the son of the late William H. and Mary Musa Hardgrove. He was predeceased by his brother William H. Hardgrove. Bob is a graduate of Somerville High School. He worked for Public Service Electric & Gas Co. as a Service Inspector for 40 years, retiring in 1986 Bob served his country as Corporal in the US Army during the Korean War. After retiring from PSE&G, Bob joined Hardgrove Reality as a sales associate. Bob also served on the Hillsborough Township Planning Board and Board of Adjustment. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Christine Hiza Hardgrove, three sons, Robert and his wife Helen Marie, James , Jeffrey and his wife Susan, and grandchildren, Kathleen, Michael, Robert, Kenneth, James and Caroline. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 5:00PM on Sunday, April 18, at Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Ave, Somerville. Funeral service will be held at 10:00AM, Monday, April 19, at Hillsborough Reformed Church at Millstone, One Amwell Road, Hillsborough. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Bob’s memory to the American Urological Association Foundation at AUA Foundation , 1000 Corporate Blvd, Linthicum, MD 21060 shall be greatly appreciated .
