Robert "Bob" J. Falvey

September 13, 1930 — June 20, 2023

Robert J. Falvey, “Bob”, died peacefully on June 20, 2023.

Born and raised in The Bronx, New York to the late Leo and Helen Falvey (nee Kelly), he graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School and  went on to do his undergraduate studies at St. John's University in Queens, before receiving his Master’s Degree from Seton Hall. Mr. Falvey worked as an Account Executive for C.T. Corporation Systems in Manhattan for 40 years before his retirement in 1992.

He was a young widower when he lost the love of his life, Eileen Tansey Falvey, in 1989. He managed to go on to live a full life despite always missing the woman who completed him. He found fulfilling companionship from the Circle of Friends. This widower’s group, affiliated with Blessed Sacrament Church, was a mainstay in his social calendar until he relocated to Bergen County in 2019. Bob’s long and devoted relationship with The New York Giants was also a significant piece to the mosaic of his life. Bob was an avid golfer, and in particular enjoyed playing at Cream Ridge Golf Course in Monmouth County, New Jersey. He was a proud lifetime member of the Somerville Elks 1068.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Eileen Falvey, his cherished daughter Patricia Saller, his dear brother and sister-in-law Richard and Kay Falvey, and brother Raymond Falvey.

Surviving are his loving children, Maureen Creamer and husband Peter, Robert “Bobby” Falvey and wife Robbie, Michael Falvey, and James Falvey, Ken Saller, his cherished grandchildren Jennifer Saller, Brian Saller, Kevin Saller, Kathleen “Katie” Smith, Conner Saller, Eileen Saller, Colleen Creamer, Kyle Creamer, Patrick Creamer, Dennis Creamer, Kerri Falvey, and Sean Falvey, his adored great-grandchildren Conner, Maren, Cleo, Ayla, his sister in law Kathleen Falvey, former daughter in law, Mary Murphy as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
