Formerly of Warren and Watchung

Robert P. Berger Sr, 90, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday June 25, 2014. Born in Newark, Robert grew up in Union and served his country in the United States Air Force during World War II as an Aerial Engineer.

He married Marianna Mueller in 1952 and they raised their family in Warren and Watchung. After retirement they split their time between Manahawkin, NJ and Florida. While in Florida he studied Spanish, “ Asi Asi” .

He was predeceased by his loving bride in 2000, and his son Keith in 2005. He is survived by his son, Robert P. Berger Jr, his daughter-in-law, Debra , his two grandchildren, Siobhan and Lacey , and his two great-grandchildren, Raelynn and Ryleigh Germinario, EIEIO GG Pop, xoxo .

A Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Monday, June 30, at the Cusick Funeral Home in Somerville preceded by visitation at 10am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge.
