Phyllis Andall, 84, died peacefully on September 17, 2025.
Born in St. Andrew, Grenada to the late Alexis and Clementina Marrast, she moved to Trinidad at the age of nineteen. She met the late Chrysostom Andall at the age of 21 and the two raised their daughter in Barataria, Trinidad. Phyllis did homemaker work initially and then worked at a clothing factory where she met Judy Guilding who remained a close and dear friend even until today. Her husband came to the United States and her daughter followed in 1991 to attend college; she joined them in 1997 and settled in Parsippany. She worked at Kmart in Parsippany for many years and enjoyed the connections she made with customers and colleagues. The Andalls retired to Center Bridge in Bridgewater in 2005 and enjoyed living closer to their daughter and her family. Phyllis enjoyed word search, reading, and taking walks with her husband. She was a longtime member of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Bridgewater.
She was preceded in death by her husband Chrysostom Andall and her siblings Rosa Manwarring, Chester Marrast, and Paul Marrast.
Surviving is her devoted daughter, Donna Prygrocki and husband Bill, her cherished granddaughter Samantha Prygrocki, her dear siblings, Veronica Astor, Chryselda Bartholomew, and sisters in law Hermie Huggins and Elsa Jacob, as well as her nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Avenue, Somerville.
