Peter D. Salerno, beloved brother, father, grandfather, and friend, died peacefully December 18th at his home with family in Point Pleasant Beach.

Peter was born and raised in Raritan before moving to Bridgewater, Flemington, and Point Pleasant Beach.

He retired in 2009, after nearly 30 years working for Johnson & Johnson as a Network and Computing Services Support Manager. Peter loved his family, his dog Gia, playing golf, spending time at the
track with friends, and was a proud member of the Elks. Peter was generous throughout his life, supporting many charities including the Make a Wish Foundation.

He was preceded in death by his wife Francine. Surviving are his two sons Matthew and his wife Bridget, Christopher
and his wife Jessica, his two brothers Joseph and Mark, his nephew Kevin, his two grandchildren Jake and Lyla, and his beloved dog, Gia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:15am on Saturday, December 22st, at Saint Ann’s Church in Raritan. A celebration of Peter’s life to follow. Visiting hours from 7pm to 9pm on Friday, December 21st, at the Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Ave. Somerville.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alex’s Lemonade Stand,333 East Lancaster Ave., Wynnewood, PA 19096, a charity for childhood cancer.
