On Thursday, September 27, 2019, Ilona Kahl, loving wife and mother of three children, passed away at age 70.

Ilona was born on January 11, 1949, in Rushden, UK, to Nonna and Francis John Bull. The family emigrated to and settled in Pennsylvania. She worked in the airline industry for over 25 years as a flight attendant for Eastern and Kiwi Airlines. For the past 19 years, Ilona was an office administrator at Branch Environment Corp. in Branchburg NJ.

​Ilona had a passion for bringing people together and delighted in making everyone feel welcomed, accepted, and supported; she was an unconditional lover and giver, and a tireless party organizer. Ilona always smiled with genuine love and happiness and was a beautiful light in the lives she touched.

Ilona was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, mother Nonna, and her father Francis John. She is survived by her three children, Jonathan, Jennie, and Zachary, her grandchildren Jude, Callen, and Sage, her sister Yvonne, and her brothers Frank and Peter. All of these she loved and touched deeply.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at the Martinsville Fire Department Station #1 (1920 Washington Valley Road, Martinsville NJ 08836), at noon. Cards and flowers may be sent to 1026 Lakeview Drive, Basking Ridge NJ 07920.
