Mildred F. Hall, 96, of Somerville, passed away on November 4, 2013, in Punta Gorda , FL. Mildred was a lifelong resident of Somerville until she moved to Punta Gorda , FL to live with her daughter.

She graduated from Somerville High School and went on to graduate from North Hudson Hospital School of Nursing in New Jersey and retired as a Registered Nurse from Somerset Medical Center, Somerville. Mildred went on to marry and have two daughters. Besides spending time with her family and friends, she was a past High Priestess of the Ladies Oriental Shrine, Past Matron of the Eastern Star and a member of the Daughters of the Nile .

She lived for her family. She was devoted to her daughters, her grandchildren and her great and great great grandchildren and had a unique ability to make each one feel special in their own way. Far beyond being an amazing woman, Mildred can be described as fiercely independent, strong, humorous, thoughtful and selfless – a true role model and a one-of-a-kind person. She touched many lives and will be missed and remembered in spirit. Mildred is survived by her two daughters, Mildred S. Stepp of Punta Gorda , FL and Ellen LiBrizzi of Bridgewater and a sister Eileen Bengivenga of Raritan. She is also the grandmother of Edward Sherkus, Adam Sherkus and Trista Zimmerman of Punta Gorda, FL and Brett Limone, Ryan LiBrizzi and Briyon LiBrizzi of Bridgewater, NJ. Mildred is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Visiting hours from 2-4pm & 7-9pm on Friday, November 22, at the Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Saturday, November 23, at Holy Trinity Church, Maple Ave., Bridgewater (Bradley Gardens). Interment to follow at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater
