Michael D. Overk died on March 11 in South Carolina. Michael was born in Somerville and recently retired residing in Timmonsville, South Carolina.

A graduate of Somerville grammer school and Bridgewater-Raritan High School. Served during the Vietnam War in the United States Air Force.

He was pre-deceased by parents Alexander Overk and Lillian Donavon and sister Sue Ann Stati.

He leaves behind his wife Bette (Case) Overk, daughter Michelle Meissner, her husband Skip, 3 beloved grandchildren Averi, Carli and Beau, his son Daniel Osborne of NYC, his sisters Berverly Sorber and her husband John and Carol Lagini and her husband Victor and several niecses and nephews.


Visitation will be on Friday, March 14, from 2- 4pm and 7- 9pm at the Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 15, at 9am at the Immaculate Conception Church, Somerville. Intermnet to follow at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater
