Maura Anne
Boyle
August 13, 1956 – May 1, 2026
Maura Anne Boyle (Fitzgerald), a devoted mother and longtime resident of Madison, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2026.
Maura was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and later lived in Floral Park before moving to Madison where she raised her family. Above all else, Maura’s life was centered on her deep love for her family, her unwavering faith in God, and the simple beauty of the world around her.
She had a profound love for art and found great peace in nature, especially in the vibrant colors of flowers and the presence of birds. To Maura, these were expressions of God’s grace, and she spent many quiet moments simply admiring them. Her life was a testament to her devotion to her family and the quiet strength she drew from her faith.
Maura is survived by her loving children: her son, Michael Patrick Boyle, and his wife, Joyce, of Pittsburgh; and her daughter, Anne Boyle, of Hartselle, Alabama. She is also survived by her brothers, Joseph, Michael, and Tony Fitzgerald, and her sister, Mary Liz Higgins.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bob; her brother, Daniel; and her parents, Joseph and Regina Fitzgerald.
