Mary C. (Gerhardt) Churchill, wife of the late Charles E. Churchill Sr., died December 21 at the Eastern Star Home in Bridgewater. Mrs. Churchill was born in Newark and resided there most of her life before moving to Somerville in 1992. She was a former hospital aide for Irvington General Hospital and a member of the United Reformed Church in Somerville.

Surviving are her son Charles E. Churchill Jr. and his wife Carolyn of Bridgewater, grandsons Charles E.III and Peter Churchill, great grandchildren Francis, Elizabeth and Matthew, niece Carol Behler and nephews Ted Huck and Fred Gerhardt. Funeral Service will held at 10:30am on Wednesday, December 24, at the Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville. preceded by visitation beginning at 9:30am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater.
