Mary R. Adams, nee Letulle, died peacefully on February 4, 2026.
Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Easton and Margaret Letulle, nee Walker, she was raised in Collingdale. Mary met the love of her life, Mr. Hugh James Adams at a dance in Upper Darby. The two were married in 1960 and settled to Drexel Hill. Always looking for a better life for their family, they moved to Hauppauge Long Island, and Laurel Springs, NJ before settling to Howell, NJ. In retirement, they moved to their dream house in Downingtown, PA and then to Langhorne, PA.
Mrs. Adams attended Camden County Community College where she received her associates degree in Medical Technology before achieving an additional associate degree in Computer Programing from Brookdale Community College. She worked as a computer programmer in the insurance industry until her retirement in 2002. Mary was a skilled programmer who was able to advance with the changes in technology in her field which led her to be an asset.
In her retirement, Mary and her husband enjoyed traveling. They especially enjoyed river cruises, a trip to Italy, and adventure to Alaska. They were members of the Senior Circle where they were on the executive board. In addition, Mary volunteered at Brandywine Hospital for many years. She enjoyed quality time at home watching the Hallmark channel and was famous for her double chocolate cake.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and Robert Letulle.
Surviving are her beloved husband, Hugh James Adams, her loving daughters, Deborah Balmann and wife Mariann, Meg Phillips and partner Chris Cutler, and Laura Springsteen and husband Jeff, her cherished grandchildren Sarah Gertner, James Phillps and wife Simone Siegel, Melissa Phillips, Shea Balmann, and Lily Balmann, her adored great-grandchildren Fisher Terry, Michael Petrus, and Riley Newberry, her brother Raymond Letulle, and his wife Victoria, as well as her nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Memorial Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 5:00PM on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Avenue, Somerville.
A Prayer Service will conclude at 5:00PM.
