Maria L. Moretti now at rest on June 26, 2014 at the age of 93 with her loving husband Gene and daughter Elaine by her side.She was the devoted wife of Gene "PoP" for 67 years and the mother of Marianna Sucher and Elaine Wittman and the proud grandmother of four grandchildren Benjamin, Mia, Hank Jr. and Mark and great grandmother to Maya Rose and Lucia Grace. Maria is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Born in Naples and raised in Pisa and Livorno, Italy. She moved to New Jersey when she married her sweetheart Gene on July 11,1947 and raised her family there.

Everything she did was for her family. She was a gentle soul, humble, kind, loyal, thoughtful and generous. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of cooking, romantic movies and books.
Maria will be forever missed by her family and friends.

Visiting hours are from 5pm-8pm on Friday (Today) June 27 at the Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30am on Saturday, June 28 at the Immaculate
Conception Church, Somerville. Entombment to follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum, Bridgewater. Memorial donations may be made in Maria's memory to the Immaculate Conception Church Foundation, 35 Mountain Ave., Somerville, NJ 08876.
