Margaret Sopoci DeStefano, 97, died at home on June 13, 2021. She was born in Somerville, NJ, on May 10, 1924, to her dear parents Katherina and Steven Sopoci. Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, sister and Aunt, a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother and a loyal friend. She enjoyed crocheting for family and friends, her walks into town every day and was kind to her friends, neighbors and people she met.

Margaret is survived by her loving children, Susan Mosca-Grosso of Raritan, Maureen Meyer of Bridgewater, Albert DeStefano, Jr. of Raritan and Dick (Richie) DeStefano of Somerville, 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her loving parents Katherina and Steven Sopoci, her beloved husband, Albert M. DeStefano, Sr., and 4 siblings, Katherine Aversa, Steven, Thomas and John Sopoci.

A private family gathering will take place at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater.
