​Dennis Marton, 63 of Bridgewater, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 23, 2017, after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis.

Son of Koral and Susan Marton, Dennis was born in Somerville, NJ on August 18, 1953. He shared many wonderful memories growing up in Raritan, NJ with his brothers, Richard, Wayne and Glenn. Dennis was a graduate of Bridgewater-Raritan High School West in 1972. He attended Fairleigh Dickinson University and graduated with a B.A. in Business Management.

Dennis married his loving wife, Susan Trudel Marton of Glens Falls, NY on May 28, 1989. Dennis loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed many vacations at Silver Beach, hiking at Hacklebarney Park, spending time at Lake Wallenpaupack, and going to Yankees Games.
He was very involved in coaching Bridgewater Recreation Baseball and Basketball. Dennis was an avid New York Yankees, New York Jets and New Jersey Devils fan. Dennis was very involved in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America program as a mentor. One of his proudest moments was helping to get his “little brother” into the prestigious Milton Hershey School.

Dennis was a member of the United Methodist Church in Bridgewater, NJ.

Dennis was currently employed by Lenox Corporation as a Senior Vice President of Marketing. He was previously employed by Triangle Home Fashion, Royal Doulton, Nikko, Villeroy and Bach and Mikasa. He was well respected as a mentor and colleague, beloved by all.

Dennis was predeceased by his loving parents, Koral and Susan Marton of Raritan, NJ.
Dennis is survived by his beloved wife, Susan T. Marton of Bridgewater, NJ and his loving children, Jeremy, Emily, Sam and Philip. He is survived by his brothers, Richard Marton and wife, Annie of Branchburg, NJ, Wayne Marton, and wife, Carol of Pearisburg, VA and Glenn Marton and wife, Linda of Raritan, NJ, along with his loving nieces and nephews and many other cherished family members and dear friends.

There will be a celebration of Dennis' life on April 22nd at Soriano's at Parkside. Stop by any time between 12 -5:00. The address is 141 Old York Rd. Bridgewater, NJ (908-722-4411)
