Lucinda "Cindy" A. O'Keefe

Lucinda “Cindy” A. O’Keefe, nee Tronziger, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2023.

Cindy was Born in Augusta, Maine to Michael Sr. and Barbara Ann Tronziger (nee Bernhardt), the family settled in Somerville, NJ where Cindy was a graduate of Somerville High School. She went on to work for the family’s restaurant, The North Branch Inn, where she was a staple for many years, creating memories and friendships with everyone who she encountered.

Cindy met Robert O’Keefe Sr. and the two were married and resided in Neshanic Station. Together, they enjoyed travelling in their RV across North America with their beloved dogs. She was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed taking trips to watch races. Cindy had a love of the Jersey Shore, collecting shells and taking time to decorate and keep them as mementos. Most of all, she adored her dogs, Rok and Tucker, and spending quality time together as a family.

She was preceded in death by her dear mother Barbara Ann Tronziger, and dear step-son Robert N. O’Keefe, Jr.

Surviving are her loving father, Michael Tronziger, Sr., her beloved husband of twenty one years, Robert N. O’Keefe, Sr., her brother Michael Tronziger, Jr., step-children Carol Fugitt and husband Mark, Tommy O’Keefe, her dear nieces Michelle, Lily and Jade, her step-grandchildren Tyler, Noelle, Robbie and Ryan, as well as her extended family and community of friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00PM on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Avenue, Somerville.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the funeral home. Family and friends are welcome to gather beginning at 9:00AM.

Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater
