Age 75

Loxi C. DeMarchi, 75, died peacefully in her husband’s arms on August 29, 2018. Born in Orange, she was a longtime resident of New Jersey. She is survived by her adoring husband, Paul, two sons, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Loxi was a lover of the arts, passionate about life, artistically creative and a prolific writer with a huge heart. Though she experienced personal challenges as a youth, she used those experiences to help others. She was proud of her African American heritage. She accepted and cared for people as they were. It was a pleasure getting to know her, how she really was, a sweet, lovely and a delicate person. Loxi had a strong sense of fairness and didn’t mind confrontation when she saw injustice which gained her both friends and detractors. Her unique, enthusiastic laughter cheered hearts. She trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as her savior and we find comfort in knowing she is with her Lord.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, September 4th beginning at 5:30 pm at Calvary Bible Church, 144 Readington Road, Whitehouse Station, NJ concluding with a funeral service at 7pm at the church.
