Louis M. Williams, son of the late James and Elizabeth Williams, was born April 11, 1926 in Pluckemin. He went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 1 at the age of 86.

On Sunday, March 24, Louis made the decision to give his life to Christ. A longtime resident of Somerville, he was affectionately known by many as "Uncle Louie". He retired from Brook Warehouse in the 90's where he worked in general maintenance and was also employed by Rustics Scrap Yard where he acquired the nick name "Scrap Iron". In his younger years he trained race horses. Louis was the brother of the late Gladys Williams.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories a sister Erma Williams of Metuchen, a daughter Juanita Murdock, husband, Andrew of Somerville, sons James Williams, wife Theresa of Trenton and Kevin Williams, wife Kim of Piscataway, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Visiting will begin 10am on Friday, April 5, followed by a 11am Funeral Service at the Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville.
