Loisanne Regan Martin

Loisanne Regan Martin passed away on October 28, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Somerville, NJ with her family by her side.

Born February 7, 1939 and raised in Pittsburgh, PA Loisanne and her family moved to Somerville in 1963. She graduated from The College of New Jersey and retired as an elementary school teacher from the North Plainfield NJ public school system after 25 years. Loisanne was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Somerville. Among her many interests, she was an avid Bridge player and was an active member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians. She also loved to travel.

Loisanne is survived by her husband Donald C. Martin, her daughter Karen J. Conover (Alan), her son Christopher R. Martin (Sharon) and her grandchildren Colin, Chloe, and Katherine. She was predeceased by her son Kurt D. Martin. She is also survived by her sisters Helen Zera, Sarah Miller (Lawrence) and her brother Robert Regan (Ann). Loisanne was dearly loved by her family and her many friends. She will be deeply missed.

A visitation will be held at Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Ave. Somerville from 5PM – 8PM on Tuesday 10/30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30AM at Immaculate Conception Church on Wednesday. Entombment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge, NJ.
