Laurence F. Young died July 1 at Ocean Medical Center. Born in Camden, Mr. Young was raised in Audubon and was a life long resident of New Jersey.

He was presently the Chief Operating Officer for Crest Furniture Inc. of Dayton, NJ having been with the company for 23 years.

An Army Air Force veteran of WW II, Sergeant Young was a member of the 506 Fighter Group and participated in the Air Offensive of Central Europe, Rhineland and the Normandy Invasion.

Surviving are his wife Virginia, a son Laurence Young (wife Louise) and a daughter Suzann Giese (husband Robert) and six grandchildren Christopher, Eric, Brent, Joel, Jon and Allie.

Graveside Services will be held 10:30am on Wednesday, July 3, at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemtery, Provinceline Rd., Wrightstown (Arneytown), NJ.
