Kenneth L Dunbar

Kenneth L. Dunbar, Sr. 97, died peacefully on March 10, 2022, in Rensselaer, New York. Born and raised in Jersey City to the late Walter and France Dunbar (nee Harrigan), he went on to marry Helen A. Tokacs and settled in Jersey City where they raised their family. Mr. Dunbar worked as a Lithographer for Prudential Insurance in Newark for 41 years before his retirement in 1986. He was a Free and Accepted Mason with the Masonic Lodge #72 of Secaucus. In his retirement he moved to Branchburg to be closer to his family and spent most of his time with his grandchildren. He was instrumental in their school and activities, and he enjoyed nothing more than the quality time they spent together. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Helen A. Dunbar in 2004, and his siblings, Margaret, Harold, and Mildred. Surviving are his loving son Kenneth Dunbar and wife Kristine and his cherished grandchildren Kasey, Madison, and Brett. Entombment will take place at 1:30PM on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at St. Bernard Cemetery Mausoleum, Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kenneth’s Memory to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105
