Kenneth J. Blair, 90, of Bridgewater NJ peacefully passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Ken was born July 22, 1935, in Jersey City NJ to James W. and Ruth Blair. Ken was a St Michaels HS and St Peters College graduate in Jersey City NJ. He went on to earn his Master’s degree from Seton Hall University, South Orange NJ. Ken Blair proudly served in the US Army and after his discharge remained in the reserves.

Ken married the love of his life Anne "Nan" Kelleher also of Jersey City on November 28, 1959, and raised four children Jim, Maureen, Denise and Patty in Fords and Branchburg NJ. Ken enjoyed a full life as a loving husband of 61 years. Ken was a longtime math teacher at Conackamack middle school in Piscataway NJ. Ken and Nan started a family real estate business, Blair House Realty, where he was a Real Estate Broker.

Ken served in a variety of capacities from Branchburg Board of Education to Mayor of Branchburg in 1985. Later Ken retired with Nan and made the move to The Villages in Florida where they enjoyed an active lifestyle. Ken and Nan played key roles in the establishment and growth of The Irish American Club of The Villages where Ken and Nan were named Irish couple of the year in 2007. Ken became president of the Villages IrishAmerican Club where he and Nan taught Irish dance.

Ken is a lifelong member of the Somerville Elks, a Past Grand Knight of Somerville Knights of Columbus, President of the Columbus Club and a Charter member of Somerset Chapter Ancient Order of Hibernians. He served in leadership positions and was honored multiple times as Man of the year. Ken was also a very proud NY Mets fan and was able to be present with family watching the Mets latest win to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Ken is predeceased by his wife Anne "Nan" Kelleher Blair in 2021. Ken is survived by his children, Jim Blair, and wife Kathy, Maureen Blair, Denise Blair Cianciola, and husband Tony, and Patty Bottrel.

He cherished his role as Pop Pop to his five grandchildren, Joseph Bottrel and wife Maria, Kaitlyn Bottrel, Christopher Cianciola and wife Janine, Kyle Cianciola and Kelly Cianciola. Ken was also Great-Pop Pop to 3 great grandsons, Patrick Bottrel, Kenny Greco and Luca Cianciola.

Visitation will be held from 4:00PM to 8:00PM on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Avenue, Somerville NJ 08876.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Church, 35 Mountain Avenue Somerville NJ 08876.

Followed by Entombment at St Bernard Cemetery & Mausoleum 551 Route 28 Bridgewater NJ 08807.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Somerville Elks No. 1068, 375 Union Avenue, Bridgewater, NJ 08807-3108
