Katherine Francis Peckham

Katherine Francis Peckham, R. N., 92, of Bridgewater, died peacefully on June 26, 2022. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA to the late Henry and Emma Goetzman, she was a graduate of Kingston High School and went on to attend Wilkes College where she received her bachelor’s in nursing. Katherine proudly served her country in the United States Navy Reserve as a Lieutenant and met the love of her life Dr. Paul Peckham while he was serving. The two married and settled in Bridgewater, where they have lived for over sixty years. Together Dr. Peckham and Katherine operated their family medical practice where they spent over thirty years helping the families in their community. In her retirement, Katherine and her husband enjoyed traveling and staying in elder hostiles, spending time gardening at home, and quality time spent as a family. Surviving are her beloved husband of sixty-three years, Dr. Paul Earl Peckham, her loving sons, Stephen Peckham, and Richard Peckham and wife Hester, her cherished grandson Ronald, as well as her dear brother Henry Goetzman and wife Jane. Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Avenue, Somerville. A prayer service will be held at 1:00PM at the funeral home.
