Josephine Galacki Ogiba, age 93, entered into eternal rest on Thursday November 25,2010 at her home in Bridgewater. Born March 17, 1917, in Great Barrington, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Peter and Catherine (Babinski) Galacki, and has been a resident of Bridgewater since 1951. Josephine was a full time homemaker and a faithful communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Somerville.

In addition to her parents, Josephine is predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years, Stanley Ogiba, who passed away November 13, 1997, and by her brothers Stanley and Stefan Galacki.

Josephine is survived by her sons Richard (Mary) of Hillsborough and Raymond (Mary) of Whitehouse Station, her dear grandchildren Christopher, Abigail, Jeffrey and Gregory Ogiba and her sisters Patricia Filipowicz and Virginia Graca and her brother Mieczystaw Galacki. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30am on Wednesday, December 1 at the Immaculate Conception Church, Somerville. Interment to follow at church cemetery. Visiting hours from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Tuesday, November 30 at the Cusick Funeral Home in Somerville.
