Josephine Licitra, wife of Emanuel "Ned" Licitra, passed away at the age of 85 on July 25 at her home in Bridgewater, surrounded by family. Born in Manville, Josephine, known by her friends and family as "Jo", attended Bound Brook High School. She worked in her family's businesses, including a hardware store and Manville Masons Supply, where she was a co-owner until the early 1980s. Mrs. Licitra moved to Bridgewater in 1977 with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Emanuel "Ned" Licitra; three daughters, Eileen, Karen (Richard) and Linda (Michael); four grandchildren, Jacqueline (John), Kevin, Brandon and Kelly; one great granddaughter, Ava Sophia and a brother, John Guastella Sr.

Visiting hours from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Thursday, July 28, at the Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30am on Friday, July 29, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Somerville, where Josephine was a member. Entombment to follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum, Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation may be made to The Alzheimer's Association of The American Heart Association.
