​Joseph Yannetta, 74, of Manville, NJ (formally of Bound Brook) passed away peacefully on Friday August 13, 2021. Joe attended Bound Brook High School and graduated from Somerville High School in 1965. He was a proud veteran of the US Army, fought in Vietnam and was a member of both the American Legion Post 12 and the VFW Post 2290. He worked for many years in the automotive industry before becoming a self-employed painting contractor. He enjoyed scuba diving, golfing, fishing with George Sladek, sharing his race horse with cousin Jake, riding his Harley with his motorcycle friends and the Steel Allegiance MC, and spending time with friends and family but most of all his grandchildren and canine companion, Mia. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Yvonne, his son Robert and his wife Jessica, daughter Lisa and beloved grandchildren Olivia and James. He is predeceased by his father Joseph Yannetta, his mother Blanche and stepfather Mason Alleman, brothers Gene, Glen and David and best friend Brian Saverino. He is also survived by his siblings Pattie, Donna, Barbara, Kathy, James and Jannett and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
