Joseph R. Gallagher a life long resident of Raritan died April 24 peacefully at home with his family by his side. He was a carpenter by trade. Joe was predeceased by his father the late Deacon Robert J. Gallagher of St. Joseph Parish in Raritan. Surviving are his mother Mildred, his sister Therese (husband Joseph Lynch), his brother Kevin (wife Julie) and nieces Shannon, Kelly and Erin and a nephew Ian. Visiting hours will be from 2-4 & 7-9pm on Friday, April 27 at the Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Saturday, April 28 at St. Joseph Church, Somerset St., Raritan. Interment to follow at St. Mary Maternity Cemetery, West Wyoming, PA.
