John M. Manning Sr.

John (Jack) M. Manning Sr.,79, a quiet gentleman and life long resident of Somerville died December 19. His wife Virginia predeceased him in 2000. Mr. Manning was a self employed mason contractor for 40 years retiring in 1990. He was a 1950 graduate of Somerville High School and a devoted member of the Immaculate Conception Church. Surviving are his daughter Susan Sumi and husband Mike, three sons Jack Jr. and wife Wendy, Dennis and wife Susan and Jeffrey and wife Marisa. Five grandchildren Brock, Jack, Patrick, Matthew and Daniel and his brother Eugene Manning. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, December 22 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Somerville and interment followed at the church cemetery.
