John R. Mandeville died December 6. He was born in Newark and resided in Neshanic (Hillsborough Township) for 40 years before moving to Bridgewater in 2000. John retired in 1985 after 28 years with Mack Trucks, Bridgewater.
A 1951 graduate of Somerville High School, a member of the Princeton Elks, the NRA, New Jersey Fire Chiefs Association, a former member of Flagtown Fire Co. # 1, where he served as a Chief, and a long time member of Mary, Mother of God Church, Hillsborough. His daughter, Jane Marie Havet, predeceased him. Surviving are his wife, Rosemarie (Tosco) Mandeville, grandchildren Michael Guerrera and Dana Marie Havet and a great granddaughter Destiny Rose Hall.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Saturday, December 12, at Mary, Mother of God Church, So. Triangle Rd., Hillsborough followed by an enurnment at St. Bernard Mausoleum, Bridgewater. The family will greet relatives and friends at 9:30am at the Church prior to Mass.
