John Lucario, husband of the late Concetta (Zagari) Lucario, died April 9. Mr. Lucario was born in Fondi, Italy and came to the United States when he was 13 years old. He resided in Raritan and then Somerville for many years. A self employed barber for over 45 years, "Johnny", as he was affectionately called, retired from his Somerville shop, "Johnny's Barber Shop" on East Main St. in 2006 at the age of 84. He was an Army Veteran of WW II, a life member of the Somerville Elks and a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and usher there for many years. Surviving are his daughter Rose DuBois (husband Richard) and his son John Lucario (wife Clarise), 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30am on Wednesday, April 13 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Somerville. Entombment to follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum in Bridgewater. Visiting hours from 2-4 & 7-9pm on Tuesday, April 12 at the Cusick Funeral Home, Somerville.
