Jeffrey Loccisano, 54, passed away after a long illness at the Promise House at the VA Hospital in Lyons, New Jersey. He was born in New Brunswick, the son of Amiel and Helen (Kotwick) Loccisano, and grew up in Bridgewater, NJ. He was a graduate of Bridgewater Raritan High School West, and received a Bachelor Degree from Florida Institute of Technology. He served in the United States Navy from 1986-1997, and with the Navy Reserves until 2006.

Following his service he worked in the Avionics Department for Continental Airlines and then United Airlines at Newark Airport as a senior Avionics Technician until 2014.

Jeffrey traveled the world extensively and was proud that he had been to six of the seven continents. He could fix anything and always enjoyed mechanical things. Jeffrey owned a Ferrarri sports car which he loved for its mechanics as much as its speed and power. He always had a dog and was dedicated to friends and family. He volunteered his time every year for the Visiting Nurses Association of Somerset Hills rummage sale.

Jeffrey is predeceased by his father, Amiel Loccisano, and survived by his loving mother Helen, sister Karen and her husband R. Michael Palan of Hartsdale, NY, and sister Tina Meyer and her family in California, as well as aunts and many, many cousins.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 1pm on Saturday, June 13 at Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Avenue, Somerville. Visitation will precede the Service beginning at Noon.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center in Morristown, NJ, and a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, staff, volunteers and fellow veterans at Promise House in Lyons New Jersey.
