Jane I. Butler

Jane I. Butler, wife of 38 years to the late William J. Butler Jr., died December 12 at Arbor Glen in Bridgewater.

Mrs. Butler was born in Brooklyn, NY and resided in Westfield for over 50 years before moving to Branchburg to live with her son William Butler III in 2002.
She retired in 1983 as an Executive Secretary after 23 years at Bell Labs in Murray Hill.

Surviving are her son William Butler and his wife Mary, her daughter Maureen Mikolajczak and her husband Joseph and a grandson Wayne MacFarland. Mrs. Butler was predeceased by her brother Frank Taylor.

A Mass of Christian will be celebrated 9:30am on Monday, December 17, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Somerville. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield. Visiting hours from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday, December 16, at the Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Ave., Somerville.
