Jane Wallace Amberg

​Jane Wallace Amberg of Bridgewater NJ, passed away on March 23, 2021, after a long and courageous battle. She was born and raised in the Ironbound section of Newark NJ to parents Lillian Caswell Wallace and George E. Wallace in 1934.

Jane moved to Bridgewater in 1963. She worked for many years in the pharmaceutical industry before retiring. In her leisure time, she enjoyed travel, crosswords, casino games, and connecting with family. She was happiest by the sea and loved being near the ocean and whale watching.

She was predeceased by her parents and siblings Robert Wallace, Edward Wallace, James Wallace, George Wallace, John Wallace, Adrienne Stecky, and Joyce Cleveland. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Frank Amberg, in 2001. She’s survived by son Frank Amberg and his wife Carol of Gouverneur NY, daughter Kathleen Amberg of Branchburg NJ, grandchildren Tess Reese and her husband Neil of Queens NY, Julia Amberg and her fiancé Wayne Fiorelli II of Bloomington NY, and Zak Amberg of Hyde Park NY. She’s also survived by her brother William Wallace of Washington NJ, sister Patricia Prott of Ocean View DE, sister-in-law Marilyn Wallace of Dallas OR, and many nieces and nephews.
