Ira F. Ost died June 19 at home. A graduate of Somerville High School, Mr. Ost resided here since 1950 and had retired from Diehl Manufacturing in 1972 after 30 years as a machinist.

After retirement, he became as supervisor for Gow-Mac Instrument Co. for 10 years.. He enjoyed wood-working and was a member of the Fish & Game Protective Association.

His wife May and son Bud predeceased him. Surviving are his niece and nephew, Tammy and William Wise of Flemington.

A Graveside Service will be held 11am on Wednesday, June 25, at the New Cemetery, So. Bridge St., Somerville.
