Helen Marie Rogan (aka Susan)-76 of Somerville NJ was suddenly called home in the early morning hours of Thursday, May 9th. Susan was an endlessly voracious reader who enjoyed daily walks with her friends at the mall. She was an active member of the JCC and enjoyed the multiple outings and activities there offered. She just recently became a doting and committed grandmother.


In her youth, Susan attended modeling school in New York City and later found work at Somerset Trust Bank. Susan went on to enjoy an extensive career as both corporate and executive secretary for Lockheed Martin and AT&T corporations. She proudly served her country as a US Army Reservist. Susan led a humble life and cherished her family over all else. Susan took great care and pride in all her endeavors and never left things unfinished. She was preceded in death by her parents Francis T. and Helen McMahon (both of Somerville) along with two big brothers Bill and Ed. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer S. Mills, son-in-law Jonathan E. Mills and granddaughter Alexandria J. Mills, all of Riegelsville PA.


There will be a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial held on Wednesday, May 15th in the chapel of Immaculate Conception Church, Somerville, NJ. Interment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Mt. Airy Road Basking Ridge NJ.
